The best tour to cover all the city’s highlights in a short time! Drive through all the top Barcelona tourist highlights hopping on and off of the car/van while we share with you the local history and art. The tour starts in Montjuïc Hill for a panoramic view of the city driving past the Olimpic Ring and continues through the 1929 World Fair and Plaza Espanya. Then we head towards Sagrada Familia driving along the Eixample District, where Modernism (our local Art Nouveau) was developed. We will learn about the 3 main architects of the time: Domenech i Muntaner, Puig i Cadafalch and Antonio Gaudí. We will see Casa Batlló and Casa Milà or La Pedrera from the outside as an aperitive to the impressive Sagrada Familia, where Gaudí worked for 43 years until he died in 1926.
