Every Friday, from 8 AM – 1:30 PM, this walking tour gives you the opportunity to experience a local morning in Bangalore. We will bridge the cultural divide for you, so you are able to immerse yourself in Bangalore’s culture, instead of feeling like a tourist trying to understand from afar. So, what are you waiting for? Grab some comfortable shoes, and join us!
This walking tour starts off with a visit to a place of spirituality, meditation and philosopy. From there, you will experience a traditional 3-course Snake Temple breakfast. After that, we will hit the road and explore the by-lanes of a 150 year old suburb. You will then be able to rest as you sip coffee at a local café – one of Bangalore’s oldest! Once you are done your coffee, you will receive Hindu blessings at a traditional temple, as many temple going Hindus do before setting off for a day’s work. After that, it’s off to the farmer’s market! Give your guide a hand picking out veggies, fruits, and flowers. You will then explore the Pette area, before ending with a relaxing, therapeutic foot massage.
