Trip Info

The mere mention of Bali evokes dreams of paradise. It’s more than a place, it’s a mood, an aspiration, a tropical state of mind and one of our favorite places. The moment you arrive in Bali, the rich diverse culture engulfs you in a warm welcome and you understand why it is known as the island of the gods.

Bail is one island with so many things to see and do. With beautiful rolling rice fields, historic temples, delicious food, friendly culture and of course surf and beach life, there are so many sides to Bali.

Yes, Bali has beaches, surfing, diving and resorts great and small, but it’s the essence of Bali and the Balinese that makes it so much more than just a fun-in-the-sun retreat destination.

We are so excited to be offering a yoga retreat in Bali! We will visit three breathtaking locations during the retreat such as the main island of Bali, along with the other Indonesian islands of Gili Meno and Lombok. This 14-day adventure travel retreat will offer a diverse Bali experience. The days and memories will be full of yoga, exploring, surfing, dancing and laughs.

Upon arrival, we will spend six blissful days doing yoga and exploring the many sides of beautiful Bali. Our home in Bali will be the Floating Leaf Eco-Luxury Retreat Hotel. It’s set in a small, traditional Balinese village amongst verdant rice fields. This secluded location, nestled between Sukawati and Pantai Purnama on the eastern shore of Bali, is far from traffic, pollution and the crowds of tourists found in Ubud and southern Bali, but still conveniently located close to the beach and other key Bali landmarks.

From Bali, we will cruise across the pristine waters to Gili Meno, located off the coast of Lombok. The Gili islands are three picturesque tropical islands sprinkled with coconut palms and surrounded by coral reefs brimming with marine life. There we will spend four tranquil days doing yoga, relaxing on white sand beaches and swimming in turquoise waters. The serene beach-front Seri Resort will be our home in this tropical paradise.

The neighbouring island of Lombok will be our final stop on the retreat. Lombok is often compared to Bali 40 years ago. This island invites adventure and exploration, rising out of the ocean with massive headlands, coastlines littered with breathtaking turquoise bays, secluded white sand beaches and world-class surf breaks. Here we will spend three adventurous days practicing yoga, surfing the best waves, exploring waterfalls and relaxing poolside at our Lombok home, the eco-chic Kies Villas.

Whether you have always wanted to go to Bali, or have already been, this retreat will provide a unique, unforgettable experience, leaving you with a lifetime of memories. There is so much to experience in Bali and it’s all too easy to get lost in the hustle and bustle of it all. After travelling the region and learning from our own experience, we have carefully planned out this retreat to provide an enriching Bali adventure, making sure to include all our favourite spots.

So join us on the adventure of a lifetime, travelling with a crew of like-minded individuals, surfing, dancing and of course sun-saluting our way around these three beautiful islands. If you love yoga, adventure and travel then this Bali adventure retreat is for you!
