Trip Info

Come and join Azab Desert Safari for an amazing desert tour experience.  View the awe-inspiring natural vistas and learn about prehistoric times, when Egypt was still a savannah.  Lean why Egypt is now famous for its pharaonic temples and see a landscape now strewn with tombs, as well as Christian churches and cemeteries.  This tour specializes in the Western Desert of Egypt – the area between the Nile Valley and the border of Libya. Aside from the many tourist attractions along the way, while passing through the village of Paris, you will see the magnificent temple of Dush.

Continue on to the oasis of Farafra.  A small, yet striking, little village: Farafra has some hot springs where you can soak your desert-weary bones and groves of beautiful palm trees to shade you as you enjoy a leisurely lunch.  Head back out into the desert and continue on to Bahariya where you can visit the Temple of Alexander the Great and the Golden Mummies.  Close to the Libyan border you will encounter the oasis of Siwa.  Known for its romantic atmosphere, and sporting its own customs and language, Siwa will serve to grant tourists an authentic ’1001 nights’ experience – complete with the ruins of ancient citadels and the Cleopatra Spring.
