Day 1: Tangier
Starting from the airport, ferry terminal, or your hotel, we will begin our adventure by exploring the bustling port city of Tangier. This lively, cosmopolitan city was once the playground of international socialites, including artists, musicians and politicians alike. We will take you through the historic Mediterranean city and explore a number of museums and heritage sites.

Day 2: Chefchaouen
Chefchaouen is a beautifully blue and white-washed Andalucian town, nestled in the Rif Mountains. We will walk through the winding alleyways and visit the market squares of this tranquil town.

Day 3: Fes
Fes, the last surviving medieval city, is Morocco’s most fascinating city. We will explore the medina, with its souks, which will lead us to the gates of the Royal Palace. We will visit the 9th century Karouine Mosque and University, followed by the tomb of the city’s founder, Moulay Idriss II.

After lunch in the bustling medina, we will continue to explore Fes’ heritage sites as we delve deeper into the history of both the city and country. Highlights include the Najarine Fountain, the old harem gardens, the gateway of Bab Boujloud and the Batha Museum. As we make our way back to the hotel, we will stop so you can enjoy a panoramic view of the city.

Day 4: Volubilis – Moulay Idriss – Meknes
We will depart Fes for Meknes, making a few stops along the way. We will explore Volubilis, the remains of a Roman city. Our next stop, just 5 kilometers away, is , named after the founder of Morocco’s first imperial dynasty. For many Moroccans, Moulay Idriss is a place of pilgrimage.

After exploring Volubilis and Moulay Idriss, we will continue on our path to Meknes, the smallest of the 5 imperial cities of Morocco. Meknes is a beautiful city with a friendly feel. The immense city walls and gates lead travelers to let their minds wander back to the city’s historic times. We will find our way through the labrynth of alleyways and market stands, which sell spices, olives, pottery, copperware or carpets, as we immerse ourselves in the city’s culture and learn about the daily life of Meknes.

Day 5: Marrakech
We will travel to Marrakech and devote the day to exploring this imperial city of the south. Our exploration starts in the the Djemaa-el-Fna Square, the vibrant heart of the city.
