Visiting Berber villages and exploring the High Atlas Mountains, inhabited by Berbers, are at the top of any traveler’s list while visiting Morocco. Berber is an ethnic group which is indigenous to North Africa. They are the experts of the desert.
Many tours which explore the mountains and introduce you to the Berber culture take several days on a trek. We are offering you a way to see it all in one day!
Come with us and discover the hiding Berber villages of the High Atlas Mountains in a different style. This combined day trip allows you to see the best of both Asni & Ait Mizane Valley in one day. We will depart Marrakech at 9:00 am, returning at 4:30 pm. How will we get there, you ask? By camel, of course! This is an opportunity to experience a camel ride without having to venture into the Sahara desert.
We look forward to guiding you!

Rachid is an experienced mountain guide through the mountains of Morocco, safely guiding many tours and showing the majesty of the mountains. He organizes trekking trips within Morocco’s High Atlas Mountains emphasizing a community-friendly approach. His trekking options include Mount Toubkal ascent, walking the High Atlas valleys, and treks through Berber villages revealing the breathtaking quiet beauty of adjacent valleys. Our activities rely on the knowledge, strong limbs and hospitality of the Berber people, who work as local guides, muleteers and accommodation providers. We believe they are the people who can tell the most about their culture, traditions and way of life to make the whole trekking experience unique and authentic.
