Another trip to Auckland we decided to do the whole day trip. Wow. What stunning art there is in Auckland. But it is so tucked away, we would have missed most of it! The walk was not arduous. We wound about the city through alley ways, up and down escalators, shortcuts through car parks and malls. Then the art works were there in front of us. The guides were so informed about the artist, their place in New Zealand’s art scene, and the history of the art work it self in both the corporate and public collections. What a delightful way to get to know the city.
