Avid paddlers will have an opportunity to explore the region on this kayaking tour. You will stop at picturesque quiet inlets, sheltered bays and secluded beaches. Catch a glimpse of seals, otters, birds of prey and seabirds that can be found in abundance.
On this tour, you will have varied scenery and bigger waters as well as wild camp along the shoreline. Learn about food foraging and coast craft skills along the way. If camping isn’t for you, we can arrange for comfortable accommodation in a Bed and Breakfast or a hotel.
Guided by an experienced leader, you will venture along the new 150 km Argyll Sea Kayak Trail running from Helensborough, past Dunoon, Toward, Bute, the Kyles of Bute around past East Loch Tarbert to Crinan. The trail runs through sheltered waters and stunning scenery. Once we pass through the Crinan Canal, the next section takes in more challenging waters running up the Kintyre coastline past numerous islands, following the strong tides all the way to Oban.
The journey has numerous stop off points offering easy access, car parking, camping, secure kayak racks and some facilities.
