Discover the amazing mountains of Nepal on this fantastic trekking tour. This fourteen-day tour will introduce you to the Annapurna Mountains and all they have to offer.
Day one will start with your arrival to the Kathmandu airport and a transferred to your hotel. You’ll receive a quick briefing from your guides and your Annapurna Conservation Permits and TIMS. Day two will bring you to the city of Pokhara where you’ll enjoy a boat ride on Phewa Lake and a visit to the Barahi Temple.
The third day of this tour will bring you on a drive to Tolka, which sits at 1,700m above sea level. The fourth day of this tour will be the start of your trekking. You’ll enjoy hiking up to Chhomrung (2,170m) by way of the Sanctuary Trail. Along the way, you’ll pass by the village of Landruk, the Modikhola Valley and the Chhomrung village.
The fifth day of the tour will bring you from Chhomrung to Bamboo. You’ll have the chance to trek through a set of stone steps, Sinuwa and the Rhododendron Forest along the way. On day six, you’ll continue your trek to the Himalaya Hotel, which sits at 2820m. While trekking, you will pass by various avalanche shoots.
The seventh day will bring you up another 900m to the Machhauchhare Base Camp. Once you reach the base camp, you may start to feel altitude sickness. The next day will consist of your trek to the Annapurna Base Camp. You’ll trek for three hours and will have the opportuntity to view the snowy peaks and glaciers along the way.
The next five days will consist of your decent of the mountain. You’ll pass by many of the amazing sights you’ve see before such as the village of Deurali, the Himalaya Hotel and Chhomrung. Once you reach Kathmandu, you’ll be free to explore or head to the airport for your departure.
