Trek in Annapurna circuit begins at Chame by continuing two days bus drive from Kathmandu. Trails from the lower valley to the Himalayan rain shadow near Muktinath surpass gradually through terraced rice fields, pine forests to the arid terrain. Upstream we enter into spectacular rhododendron forests; spring brings spectacular blooms, from red to pink to white, depending on altitude. Manang is the Buddhist country with around the captivating glaciers and lakes where we will see colorful prayer flags, mani walls and monasteries. Crossing the highest Thorung La Pass at 5,416m is a challenging but highly rewarding sense of accomplishment. Trek goes down exploring chortens, fossils, forts, shrines of pristine trans-Himalayan in the deep Kali Gandaki gorge located between the Dhaulagiri and Annapurna massifs. After several days of hiking in the mountain, relaxing in the natural hot springs at Tatopani will really be an exceptional experience, our trek package completes at Pokhara.
