Trekking Annapurna Base Camp one of the most famous trekking area for trekkers in Nepal. It is a medium trek in Nepal and every people can do this trek. It is suitable for family group, college student group, honeymoon trip and many others. The peaks like Annapurna I, including Hiunchuli, Annapurna south, Fang, Ganagapurna, Annapurna II and Annapurna III, and Machhapuchhare are some of the major attractions to add pleasure for the trekkers in the circuit.
The Annapurna Base Camp Trek begins from Nayapul which is around one hour drive from Pokhara. Half an hour’s walk begins from Nayapul to Birethanti situated at the confluence of Modi and Bhurung rives where the route divides. On the way you will see rhododendron forest and walking rural village, we take the West trail towards Ghorapani, a Village situated at the altitude of 2800 meters. Poon hill located on the way at the altitude of 3210m is the view point to both Dhaulagiri and Annapurna Himal. The views at sunrise from Poon hill are simply stunning. From Ghorepani, the trail leads east to the hamlet of Tadapani and on towards chhomrong, from where we commence our journey into the Annapurna sanctuary and onwards to Annapurna base camp. The trekking follows the views of Himchuli and Machhapuchhre. After base camp, trek down to Jhinu dada and enjoy the natural hot spring and the trial lead to Tolkha village to Dhampus and end point Phedi and drive 1 hr Pokhara.
People who don’t have time can finish this trek in 7 days and 10 days and people who want to enjoy fully can extend this trek up to 15 days according to their time and interest. There are many routes to get there.
