Annapurna Base Camp Trek is one of the most famous trekking trails in Nepal. This trek is along the foothills of the beautiful Himalayas in the northern part of Nepal and begins in the gorgeous lake city of Pokhara. You will be driven to the foot of Annapurna, the Base Camp, at an elevation of 4210 meters. The trail includes a few customary towns occupied by numerous ethnic Nepal tribes including Gurung, Magar, and Thakali. Their cordiality will warm your heart. Your guide will lead you to various places in the Annapurna and its nearby region. You will visit a secret local spot where you can appreciate the stunning perspective of 11 towering snow-secured mountain tops.
What is wonderful and unique about this trek is that there are no stresses of high-elevation illness and as this trek does not require a high level of fitness, anyone who wishes to experience the natural beauty and magnificence of the delightful Annapurna can join. The best conceivable time for the Annapurna Base Camp Trek is between September and November and between March and May. Trekking in the storm season, i.e. between the times of June to August, is not prudent as it is very unsafe as the snow is elusive due to rain.
