The most exciting trekking in Annapurna region is Annapurna Base Camp Trek. To reach the base of Mt. Annapurna I (8,091m/26,539ft), the 10th highest peak on the planet, is rewarding in itself. In a very short period of time, the Annapurna Base Camp Trekking trail takes you from the tropical to alpine region at the base of 7000 m and 8000 m peaks offering pristine culture of different ethnic groups and breathtaking landscapes. Along the way, get a closeup view of Himalayas including Mt. Annapurna I, Annapurna South, Hiuchuli, Fishtail and many other peaks come into sight. The 13 day Annapurna Base Camp Trek starts from and ends at Kathmandu. Next day of arrival in Kathmandu, explore the UNESCO World Heritage Sites and then in following day drive to naturally beautiful Pokhara city. Passing through beautiful terrace field, waterfalls, beautiful and traditional villages, forest of rhododendron and oak, pasture land, and finally reach at abode of Himalaya’s wonders in Machhapuchre Base Camp (3,700m) and then in Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m). The return trail also offers mesmerizing views of landscapes and Himalayas as well as relaxing time in the Hot Spring at Jhinu Danda.
