Enjoy a visit to Rome by exploring at the ground level in fun fashion. This three-hour bike tour stops at major attractions within the city guided by a local and knowledgeable leader. Discover the history of ancient Rome and have a cultural experience made for groups of friends, families, students and individuals.
You will meet your guide at Via di San Paolo alla Regola 33 at a prearranged time. You will be only riding in limited traffic areas with few cars as we explore charming places and alleys where it is impossible to see from a bus or car.
This journey of the ruins of the ancient city from the Republic to the Imperial age will comprise of the main sites of ancient Rome. Your guide will show you the main monuments such as the Colosseum, the Pantheon and secret places where Romans lived. The places on the itinerary are Largo Argentina, Ara Coeli, Marcello’s theatre, the Mouth of True, Circus Maximus, Palatine Hill and the Imperial Forums. See the Traianus Colomn, Piazza Venezia, Via del Corso, Piazza di Pietra (Adrian templum), Piazza Colonna, Piazza Navona and Campo dei Fiori.
We will also stop for a taste of original Italian coffee and ice cream.
