Trip Info

This is the ideal jungle tour for animal and nature lovers alike! This tour takes you to Puyo by private car where you will see some of the amazing animals of Ecuador! You will also be stunned by the amazing nature as we take you through the rainforest, introducing you to the indigenous community.

We will meet at our office in Banos at 8:30 am and travel by private car towards Puyo, where we will visit a rescue center for animals. You will see a variety of wildlife, including monkeys, ocelots and caimans. Afterwards, we will visit a beautiful waterfall, which is about two hours away from the cabins. At the waterfall. we will be able to swim and enjoy the tranquility of the forest. The stunning setting makes the area a memorable one.

We will make our way through the jungle as we make our way to the camp. Your expert guide will  share his experience and wisdom of rainforest and its flora and fauna with you.

We will arrive at a camp in time for a traditional lunch. After that, we will go on a canoe ride, paddling along the Puyo river for 30 minutes. The canoe ride will take us to a viewpoint which offers an exceptional view of the rainforest.

We will continue on our journey and visit a Quichua indigenous community, where you can watch how they make necklaces and bracelets. We can also practice the blowpipe and paint our faces with achiote, which is a natural paint.

After this amazing adventure, we will return to Baños.
