Trip Info

This Amazon Jungle Trip package is ideal for those interested in discovering the Amazon forest in a more authentic way. That is, among the native people of the Amazon. The activities of this package are similar to those of other packages but done with the local people out in the jungle. Be part of life inside this spectacular Amazon Rainforest tour and enjoy a trip of a lifetime with us.

The lodge offer rooms with air conditioning, private bathrooms, hammocks to relax during the day, a bar with soft drinks, beer and the traditional Brazilian caipirinhas. Meals that are served are fish, beef, chicken and the typical Brazilian rice and beans.


Day one:

At 08:00 am transfer from your hotel to the Ceasa port where a speed boat will take you to the meeting of the waters, the point where the Rio Negro and the Solimões rivers meet. From there visit the Careiro Village on the other side of the Solimões river.

Your trip continues by car or van for about an hour to the Paraná do Mamori River. Take another speed boat to the lodge arriving there at about 11:30 am.

At 3:00 pm, more activities for your day begin. By boat the group will leave with an explanation by the guide about the flora and fauna of the area that the group will be exploring for the next couple of days, and finally watch the spectacular sunset out in the Amazon.

Dinner is served at 07:00 pm, after dinner another canoe ride takes the group to Cayman spotting.

Day two:

Early, at 5:30 am, take a canoe trip to watch the sunrise along with listening to the sounds of the Rainforest waking up to a new day.

Back at the lodge, have breakfast, and then at 8 am leave by boat to the spot where the jungle trek begins which takes up the rest of the morning (until 11:30 am). During the walk, your guide shares valuable knowledge on the local medicinal plants, trees and insects such as spiders. If you are lucky, there is even a chance of spotting curious monkeys.

Back to the Lodge, Lunch is served.

In the afternoon, at 3:00 pm, the group will leave by boat to the spot among the river where you will have the chance to fish for the Piranhas, and during the boat ride back to the lodge enjoy the sounds of the birds and other animals of the surroundings of the jungle.

Day Three:

After breakfast, from 8:00 am to 11:00 am, the group goes to visit the home of a local family to see and learn their simple and fantastic way of living in the forest.

After lunch, at 3:00 pm the group leaves by boat to explore the small channels, where this will be a good chance to spot some birds, monkeys, caymans and dolphins.

Day Four:

Breakfast is served, at 8:00 am the group will leave to do another hike on the Vazea (From April to August this tour is done by Boat since it is an area that can be flooded). During this hike the group will learn more about the Rainforest and also have the chance to spot some more wildlife that can be found only in that area like the 3 toed sloth.

Back to the lodge, and lunch is served.

At 1:30 pm return to Manaus, getting there at about 4:30pm.
