Trip Info

Day 1: Hanoi Arrival
Arrival at Noi Bai Airport, Asia Eyes Travel’s driver and guide will pick you up and transfer you to Hotel.

Day 2: Hanoi City Tour – Overnight Train To Sapa (B/L/-)
From 8.00 – 8.30, tour guide pick up from your hotel, then visit Ho Chi Minh complex where tourists will learn all kinds of information about president Ho Chi Minh. Then we move to One Pillar Pagoda – a group of structures consisting of a pagoda and a tower built in the middle of a square lake. Leave one pillar pagoda for the temple of literature – Van Mieu – the first college of Vietnam and the place dedicated to Confucianism.

At 12.30, enjoy local lunch, then visit Ethnology Museum where you have a great chance to know about culture, custom, languages, and the houses of 54 ethnic groups in Vietnam.

15.30 – 16.00: Take the car come back your hotel. Then, you are free until transferring to the railway station for night train to Sapa.

Optional: City tour with Paloma Motorbike.

Day 3: Sapa Trekking (B/L/-)
Our guide meets you at the Lao Cai train station, and you depart for Sapa by van. Arriving in Sa Pa mid-morning, you check in to the hotel (in case hotel room available), have breakfast and short rest.

After lunch, our guide takes you to visit two Black H’mong villages (Cat Cat Village) and a waterfall. There, you will have a chance to see the hydroelectric power station built by the French. After that, it’s back to Sa Pa for dinner. In the evening, you’re free to do as you wish. You can explore the town of Sa Pa. Overnight in hotel.

Day 4: Sapa Trekking – Overnight Train To Hanoi (B/L/-)
After breakfast, our guide takes you to villages populated by H’mong and Dzay peoples, respectively called Lao Chai and Ta Van. This popular trip from Sapa is a good chance to traipse around the rice terraces and experience a bit of rural village life.

Travel down the valley from Sapa to the H’mong village of Lao Chai, it’s a nice ride in itself, with great views of the lush terraces. From there, you’ll just follow the valley for a few miles to the next town of Tavan. Along the way, you’ll walk through terraced rice fields and among some picturesque villages, and experience a bit of rural life.

PM: back to Lao Cai to catch a night train back to Ha Noi, arriving the next early morning.

Day 5: Hanoi – Halong Bay Cruise (B/L/D)
Arrive Hanoi check in our hotel for shower and breakfast before visiting Halong. Spend 24 hours on the traditional Junk Cruise on amazing Halong Bay. In the afternoon cruise around many islands and visit floating villages by bamboo boat, or kayaking to the beach for swimming there. Come back the boat, take part in class cooking and sunset party. Then, we have dinner. Overnight onboard Paloma Cruise.

Day 6: Halong Bay – Hanoi – Danang (B/L/-)
In the morning, visit the Cave (Sung Sot Cave) and keep cruising around the bay before going back to dock to get on bus back to Hanoi to catch your flight to Danang then our car picks you up to Hoi An. Overnight at hotel in Hoi An.

Day 7: Hoi An Free At Leisure (B)
Today you will be free to relax or you can take some options such as: Myson Holy land tour, cooking class tour, bicycle tour or shopping… Overnight at hotel in Hoian.

Day 8: Hoi An – Ho Chi Minh – Cu Chi Tunnels (B/L/-)
This morning, you are picked up and transferred to the airport to catch a flight to Ho Chi Minh City.

Then our guide and driver will pick you up from the airport to go to visit Cu Chi tunnels – a battle field in Vietnam War close to Saigon City. In their heyday, the tunnels were functioning underground cities including numerous trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers, and kitchens.

PM: Return to Ho Chi Minh City for overnight.

Day 9: Ho Chi Minh – Mekong Delta Tour (B/L/-)
After pick up at the hotel in Ho Chi Minh, we enjoy the scenic journey along the way bordered by green rice fields.

On arrival at My Tho, take a leisurely boat ride along the river, view the stilt houses, fruit plantations and fishing villages along the river bank. Proceed to Tortoise islet, have lunch in the orchard garden. Then a boat ride to An Khanh – a less touristy attraction in Ben Tre, enjoy cruising on a hand-rowed sampan under the shadow of the water coconut trees along natural canals, then enjoy seasonal fruit and honey tea to the sound of "Southern Vietnamese folk music", performed by locals, then visit Vinh Trang pagoda.

PM: You are going back to Saigon for overnight.

Day 10: Ho Chi Minh Departure (B)
Free at leisure until time to transfer to the airport for the flight home.
