Trip Info

Salem alpacas farm stretched out 25 acres and was intended to be a horse farm. Over the years changes were made, and from three breeding females, the population has grown to 30 huacaya alpacas.

Individual tours of the farm are welcome. There are no charges upon your visit. You can experience petting alpacas up-close firsthand. There is also an official store that displays alpaca fleece products such as sweaters, cardigans, and cashmere. Bus and group tours are also welcome. The access is free, so is the parking lot. However Salem Alpacas gratefully accept cash donations at it well help with public education on these awesome animals.
