Highlights
- You will start the adventure at the Featherdale Wildlife Park. This expanse of maintained habitats features many well-known and beloved species, including koala, dingo, wombat, kangaroo and wallaby.
- Next we travel to Katoomba to meet with the Aboriginal guide who will show you to the most majestic and breathtaking places in the Blue Mountains National Park. Aboriginal park rangers will also be available to answer questions and share firsthand information about their culture as you make your way along an educational bush walk. This journey will include nine stops that showcase the stunning natural features visible from River Rock, Allambie Lookout, Lady Darley Lookout and Kedumba View.
- A short stroll to the Waradah Aboriginal Centre for a brief lecture given by an indigenous tutor. After the lecture, you will be treated to a 20 minute performance given by the Waradah Dance Troupe. You will also bear witness to a Smoking Ceremony while taking in the haunting tunes produced by the traditional Didgeridoo.
