Lodi Gardens is a vast stretch of greenery constructed by the British Government as “Lady Wellington Park” and comprises some of the prominent landmarks in the history of Delhi. The mosques and tombs present at the garden are only the few remnants of the Lodi dynasty which ruled Delhi in the 13th century. Chosen as one of the coolest places to hang out by couples due to the vast stretch of greenery and lovely atmosphere, Lodi Gardens is quite inviting. Safdarjung tomb was constructed by the son of Safdarjung who was a nobleman who tried to grow beyond his limits. The interesting features of the tomb include the patterns, style of construction and the way it has been maintained.
