Guide

Trip Info

This private tour gives the most extensive detail of attractions and sites in the eastern part of the country. It covers the most distance by exploring the most diverse range of scenery. We will visit beautiful castles and manor houses, the industrial heartland, scenic coastland and amazing landscapes. As this region is outside of Tallinn, it is not overcrowded with tourists, which will give you a chance to discover the heritage and culture in a unique way.

We will visit important structures and sites such as Toolse Castle, built on the sea to ward off pirates. See Aaspere Manor and Rutja, an abandoned Soviet airbase. We will stop for lunch at the magnificently restored Vihula Manor, where you will feel like real nobility as you dine.

After exploring Purtse, a fortified manor house, we leave the beautiful buildings behind for a short while and visit Kivioli, a soviet industrial town. You will marvel at the view from the biggest artificial hill in the Baltics at Ash Mountain.

Our final stop is Rakvere castle, where you can try your hand at archery or sample some Estonian wine.
