Trip Info

Four day Mombasa-bound lodge wildlife safari visiting the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro, then to Amboseli, Tsavo West National Park, Chyulu Hills, Mzima Springs, Tsavo East National Park, Lugards Falls, Mudanda Rocks, Aruba Dam, & Mombasa.

Day 1: Mombasa / Tsavo West
Pick up from the hotel at 5:00 a.m and depart for a journey inland via the Mombasa/Nairobi highway. A brief stop-over for refreshments and call of nature is allowed in Voi town. Proceed to the Tsavo West National Park, entering the park in the early morning. Commence your game viewing in search of lion, leopard, cheetah, buffalo, elephant, giraffe, a variety of antelopes, zebras, etc. en route for lunch in Ngulia Safari lodge. Afternoon game spotting, where we will also visit the Rhino Sanctuary. Common wildlife sightings here include: lion, cheetah, leopard, giraffe, elephant, water buck, topi, eland, gazelle, etc. and hundreds of species of birds. Dinner and overnight in the lodge

Day 2: Tsavo West / Amboseli
Early morning game drive in the park. After breakfast we depart for Amboseli national park, via Mzima Springs to view hippo, crocodile and tilapia through an underground observatory. We continue to Amboseli, right on the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest point in Africa. We check in at Kibo Safari Camp for lunch. Afternoon game tracking in this magnificent park, looking out for hippo, elephant, wildebeest, lion, zebra, gazelle, kudu, hartebeest and the numerous species of birds. Dinner and overnight in the camp.

Day 3: Amboseli / Tsavo East
Early morning game drive in the park. This is also the ideal time to view the eternal snows of Mount Kilimanjaro (weather permitting). Back to the lodge for breakfast after which we proceed to Tsavo East National Park and enter in search of fauna and flora. The scenery is in stark contrast with Tsavo West. Herds of elephant, buffalo and antelope together with packs of predators may be sighted. Arrive in Voi Wildlife lodge in time for lunch. Afternoon out for game spotting in this vast park. Visit the Aruba Dam and Kanderi Swamps for aquatic birds. Dinner and overnight in the lodge.

Day 4: Tsavo East/Mombasa
Tea or coffee and out for game viewing. Back to the lodge for breakfast after which we exit the park with game viewing to Mombasa, with lunch en route. We arrive at your beach hotel in the late afternoon.
