Trip Info

This is the perfect tour to discover Nepal through short, pleasant hikes, without climbing high mountains. The difficulty grade of this hiking tour is rated as easy. We will take you to important cultural and heritage destinations, to great view points to see the mountains. This is not only a vehicle to vehicle sightseeing tour also for short walking.
In this trip we will take you to the most popular world heritage sights in Kathmandu valley and make a pleasant and short hike around the valley where you will be able to see a panoramic view of the mountain and people’s lifestyle. Dakshinkali is a Hindu temple where you will see animal sacrifice inside the temple. From here we can take a short hike to the Newri Village of Bungmati and Khokana. We enjoy the beauty and scenery of the lakeside city of Pokhara and make a three day hike (short trekking) north of Pokhara. You will have super view of the Himalayas and an insight about Nepali rural life during this hike. After short but remarkable time in the Himalayas we drive to the tropical national park at Chitwan to enjoy elephant back safari, canoe ride, a visit to elephant breeding centre and a bird watching programmer before returning back to home.

Detailed Itinerary:

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
Up on arrival you will be picked up at the international airport in Kathmandu and transferred to the hotel by our airport representative. After refreshments your tour guide will pick you up at your hotel for a half day sightseeing tour to Kathmandu’s Durbar Square. Later on this evening you will be picked up from your hotel for a cultural dinner. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 02: Full day in Kathmandu
Today you have a full day guided sightseeing tour to the Buddhist and Hindu sights in Kathmandu, probably to Durbar Square, then visit “Swyambhunath” a Holy sight of Hinduism and Buddhism also known as “the monkey temple” as a large number of holy monkeys are living in the north-west part of the temple. Next, you will be taken to “Pashupatinath a sacred Hindu temple situated on the bank of the Bagmati River. You will then be driven to “Boddhanath Stupa” one of the biggest and oldest stupas in the world. Later in the afternoon there will be a pre-trip meeting with your Hiking/trekking guide in your hotel. Our office representative will brief you regarding the trek as well as provide you the opportunity to ask any questions of the upcoming trip. Second overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 03: Drive to Dakshinkali Temple and Hike to Bungmati and Khokana via Pharping village.
Today after an early breakfast drive to Dakshikali temple, one of the famous Hindus temples where you see animal sacrifice, located south east from Kathmandu. After short time here in Dakshikali hike to one of the typical Newari village Bungmati and Khokana, after short sightseeing tours in and around village drive back to Kathmandu. Stay over night at the hotel.

Day 04: Drive to Pokhara (820m) about 7 hrs
Today an early morning breakfast at the hotel, you have day scenic countryside drive to lakeside city of Pokhara, the capital city of nature. From here you can see nice view of the Annapurna, Dhaulagiri and Manaslu Himalayan range include Fish-tail Mountain. It has such a nice natural lake which is located on the hearth of city. On arrival after refreshment you will have half day sightseeing tours Lake, water fall and cave. Stay over night at the hotel.
Note: You can fly to Pokhara which takes 35min

Day 05: Drive to Nayapul (about 2 hrs) and hike to Ghandruck (1980m) 4-5 hrs
Today an early morning breakfast at the hotel in Pokhara, you have about 2 hrs scenic countryside drive pass through the several villages to Nayapul from where 3 day hike begin. The trail is very gentle at the beginning along the Modi River through the nice scenery of the tropical forest and landscape. From Syauli Bazaar the trail ascends all the way to Ghandruck. This is one of the biggest modern villages in this trek from where you will be able to see such a nice view of the Annapurna South, Fishtail Mountain and Hiun Chuli. After refreshment you can explore the area, and can enjoy the beauty and local museum. Stay over night at the tea house.

Day 06: Hike to Tolka (1750m) 4-5 hrs
After first breakfast in the mountain, today the trail descends all the way to bank of the Modi River. This is very informative hike, you will be able to see and learn about people culture and lifestyle. When we cross Modi River over the suspension bridge the trail ascend all the way to Landruck, second biggest Gurung village after Ghandruck of this trek where we have lunch break. After lunch we have gentle walk to the Tolka. Stay over night at the tea house.

Day 07: Hike to Phedi (4-5 hrs) via Dhampus and drive back to Pokhara (30min)
Tolka is small village which is lies on the lap of the mountain from where you will be able to see lovely view of the Annapurna south and Hiun Chuli. After breakfast, the hike starts through several small towns with different tribe of people. There is short ascend near Deaurali from where you see breathtaking view of the Annapurna and Dhaulagri Mountain range include Fishtail to the north and Pokhara valley to the south in the valley. From Deurali the trail descend all the way to Phedi from where you take short drive to Pokhara. Stay over night at the hotel.

Day 08: Drive to Chitwan national Park
After breakfast, in the morning you will have couple hrs guided sightseeing tours to David waterfall, Museum than drive to Chitwan National park through the scenic countryside for Safari activities. You will have some of the activities today before the dinner. At the evening you will have cultural program. Stay over night at the hotel.

Day 09: Full day in Chitwan National Park
Full Day Jungle activities include jungle safari on elephant back, nature walks, jungle drive, canoe ridge and bird watching in the park having 360 sq. miles of tall grassland and thick forests. We will attempt to search out some of the elusive animals of the Terai, and with the skill of the fully will encounter the one horned Rhino, various types of deer, boar and leopard and if we are very fortunate the elusive tiger. Later on this evening you will be able to watch Tharu Cultural Dance. Stay over night at the hotel.

Day 10: Drive back to Kathmandu
Today in the morning you will have one of the activities before breakfast then after breakfast you will drive back to Kathmandu through the scenic countryside. Stay over night at the hotel.
Note: You can fly to Kathmandu which takes 25min

Day 11: Final departure
Today we will transfer you to the international airport for your departure back home. or join another trip with us.
