Just a few hours and you will cross more than ten centuries of architecture on this architectural tour of Prague, the Golden City! The tour begins in the Old Town – the oldest part of Prague where you find examples of all architectural styles: from the early Gothic until Art Nouveau, for ex. hotel Europa or the Municipal house. By the Old Town Square stands the Estates Theater built in classicism, around the corner is the Cubist café. Further you find Baroque churches, Jesuit college, and also Charles Bridge
Because Prague city centre was not destroyed during the Second World War, you find examples of all architectural styles in the Golden City as they were built. Prague is like a museum of architecture – from the Romanesque style over Gothic, Baroque, Renaissance, till Art Nouveau, Cubism, and modern styles.
We can adjust the tour according to what you like and what you want to see.
