Waking up with a Bang San Francisco-Style

Bike tour guides in Paris start their mornings biking the city’s charming cobblestoned streets. Food tour guides in Italy wake up with warm pastries and lattes. And wildlife guides in Alaska welcome the new day by venturing out in search of bears, moose, eagles, bison and caribou.

In San Francisco, however, one man starts the new day flying above the city in a helicopter, taking in the sunrise and rolling fog with his Canon 6D.

Toby Harriman’s video, “A Typical San Francisco Morning,” was shot over just two mornings in early October, but Bay Area guides will attest that 99% of the area’s mornings are nothing but magical and invigorating.

Weather aside, it’s the food, the culture, the history, the architecture, the art and more that make San Francisco a must for travel enthusiasts. When you’re visiting the City by the Bay, be sure to venture off with local San Francisco guides who will show you the little-known, the well-known, the delicious, the historic and the modern, the intoxicating as well as the parks and beaches, but also be sure to wake up early at least one morning to experience one of SF’s stunning sunrises.
