Joshua Morin took a little jaunt around both destinations this summer, and what he’s captured is unreal. From the towering skyscrapers to the mosques of Dubai, and from the steaming volcanoes and epic sunsets of Indonesia, this video is both full of stunning contradictions and one beautiful truth: the world is incredible! And so are the people in it.
Did you know that Indonesia is comprised of more than 17,500 islands? Or that Dubai is home to the Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world, at 828 metres? Yep. There’s a little extra knowledge for your week.
Morin, a talented filmmaker, did the journey with his friends. “Thanks to my travelling friends who were so patient with my camera slinging ways,” he says in the video description. We think they’re probably more than a little happy about having these memories captured on film!
On the other hand, if you’re travelling alone throughout Dubai or Indonesia, it doesn’t hurt to have a little guidance every now and then. A hiking trekking tour in Indonesia will even take you up close to those bubbling volcanoes, and is helpful when you want to stay safe and informed. In Dubai, there is a wealth of options for exploring: perhaps you’re even interested in a Dubai desert tour? Whatever tickles your fancy, you’ll love uncovering it all!
