“Two Lands – Greenland | Iceland” comes from photographer Scientifantastic who was on a shoot with Panasonic through – you guessed it – Greenland and Iceland. In Iceland, the photographer visited the South Coast, Snæfellsnes Peninsula, Kirkjufell, and Grundarfjörður. In Greenland, he visited Kangerlussuaq, Ilulissat, Ilimanaq, Ilulissat Ice Fjord, Russell Glacier, Greenland Icecap, and Disko Bay. By the time you’re done with this video, you’ll want to be braving those cold weather climates too. (You may even want to go surfing in the arctic like the brave souls in this video.) One thing’s for certain: the views are completely worth it.
Luckily for you, you can have your own personalized experience on a Northern Lights tour, especially when it comes to seeing the Northern Lights in Iceland. If you’re looking for something a little closer to home, though, why not try a Northern Lights ecotour in Alaska? Really, they’re beautiful no matter where you are in the world. Even if you’re the kind of person who tends to avoid freezing temperatures, we promise a trip like this is worth it. See for yourself.
