Is this the Most Epic Wedding Ever?

Adventure guides are a breed apart: while the rest of us are having our morning coffee and considering the workday ahead, they might have already scaled a mountain in Peru, rafted a river in British Columbia or gone scuba diving in Australia. It’s a lifestyle that many of us envy but there are aspects to the job that can be challenging: alpine starts at 3am, hanging out in some of the most committing environs on earth (from the peaks in Alaska to the ocean waters off of Spain) and then, of course, there’s the higher risk of injury,

But as the happy couple in this video can attest, sometimes a bit of risk nets you the greatest reward. Brian and Mandy of Lander, Wyoming, spent their wedding day with enough multisport experiences to make all adventure guides swoon. Filmed by videographer Kyle Duba, the footage shows the couple and their friend/minister Jamie O’Donnell biking the 14 miles into the Cirque of the Towers in Wyoming, then embark on a 24-mile (one-way) hike to 11,884-foot Pingora Peak, where they rock climbed up the face and tied the knot on the summit. Mandy brought along an $8 dress she found at a consignment store and her bouquet was made up of alpine flowers she picked along the way. They then toasted with tiny bottles of champagne and Oreo cookies. Overall, the newlyweds were on their feet for 24 straight hours during their wedding day and the entire experience took just under 2 days.
