Lion Cub Gives Unsuspecting Dog a Fright

Safari guides and tour guides in Africa jump at the opportunity to show travelers their beautiful scrublands, flat topped hills called Karoo Koppies, plateaus, mountains and ocean, along with the likes of unique ostrich farms, reserves that breed rhinos, and wetlands where elephants and hyenas roam aplenty.

But what you may not expect to see while exploring the home of art that dates back 75,000 years, as well as some of the oldest archaeological and human fossil sites in the world, is a lion cub sneaking up on a dog, giving the unsuspecting pooch the fright of a lifetime.

Ladies and gents, as the following video filmed at Cornellskop Animal Training Farm in Bot River on the Western Cape of South Africa proves, not only is the country the place to go for animal spotting and adventuring, it’s great for the comedy-hungry too.
