I (come) from a family of mountain guides, and I love meeting foreign people and leading them through my country.
How did you make the transition to becoming a mountain guide?
It was not a random choice, but due to (my) love of mountains and nature in general.
As a Morocco guide, what types of tours do you offer?
Trekking tours, mountain biking tours, skiing tours, desert tours, day trips.
After waking up and having breakfast, I check my email and then go on a short walk around the Berber villages in my valley with my guests. After that, we return to a restaurant where we have lunch.
Do you have a certain style of guiding?
My guiding style is friendly, easy-going and very smiley — taking care of my guests.
What’s the best part of your job?
Meeting foreign people from different cultures (and) showing them my beautiful country and culture.
You get lots of information and you feel more secure.
