Nadezda Fru (or Nadya for short) is an independent guide who offers culture and sightseeing tours in Moscow, the capital city of Russia. ”I am happy to arrange individual tours for English-speaking visitors who are interested in studying the history of Russian and Soviet culture,” she says. “I offer an authentic experience, where you can enjoy traditional Russian home cooking and discussion about Russia’s past and present.”
One of the trips Nadya offers is a tour of an authentic Soviet Dacha, or cottage house, in Moscow. It’s a particularly interesting tour because it shows you a traditional quaint cottage house in a city that’s the second most populated in the world.”You will see Russia’s Soviet past in an old Dacha house,” Nadya says. “You will learn about the Dacha’s beginning and about the life in USSR. The Dacha is a small piece of country land located just outside of the city with flowers, trees, berries, vegetables and other plants. It’s a weekend escape.”

“We are creating GuideAdvisor because we believe it is the people who you share an experience with that make the experience.” says founder Nick Clayton. ”Our goal is to ‘spread the word’ about great guides, using detailed profiles and traveler reviews to help travelers find the perfect guide for them.”
