My diverse background in the tourism and travel industry includes: Concierge at the Fairmont Queen Elizabeth hotel, working at the airports, destination management companies, incentive houses as a corporate travel director with companies like American Express, international tour operators that include Globus, as a tour manager. I am also a public speaker and workshop presenter. I have worked for Tourism Montreal’s as media relations manager as well as in the business, convention and communication departments since 1993. This includes working with the sales team to bring international conferences to Montreal. I have also worked for Tourism Québec in various capacities that include developing programs for emerging markets, consultant, leading familiarization tours, working with film crews and organizing events. I continue to work as a private concierge and offer training, evaluation in the tourism industry both in Montreal & abroad. I am a photographer, I sing, am a dance teacher and still perform in front of live audiences.

I am an avid traveller, having visited 141 countries and lived for periods of 3 to 6 months in 25 different places worldwide that include Egypt, India, the Arabian Gulf, Italy, London, Spain, etc. I travel for work, study languages, dance, music, photography, art and culinary art. I collect art & antique tribal jewelry. During my travels, I learn to cook unusual dishes from locals, which I create at home. On my journeys, I give workshops, training and volunteer. The type of travel, my international network, my experiences and the languages I can communicate in, have opened doors but have also helped me in offering truly personalized private tours and experiences in Montreal.

I am President Emeritus of both the World Federation of Tourist Guide Association The international organization representing tourist guides worldwide and I have been involved since 1993. My international involvement with colleagues who are local experts & private guides worldwide has taught me to observe, improve, learn and share experiences to continue to be a better guide but also to share knowledge with others.
