Guide Bio
Hello everyone, I am an official English and French-speaking guide in Marrakesh. I was born in a small town nearby the capital, Rabat. I moved to Marrakesh 12 years ago for education purposes, specifically to attend the University. As a part-time job to earn an income and support my studies, I began offering tours to visitors. I enjoyed the work and learned a lot from the different people I have met over the years.
After encouragement from my clients, friends & family, I started my own company – Morkosh Tours. My tours are focused on our culture, customs, life, and the people of my country. With Morkosh Tours you will easily learn everything about Marrakech and Morocco. All our guides are informative, knowledgeable, and patient with our customers. We speak your language, we give you demonstrations, and we respond to your questions and queries. With Morkosh Tours, the decision is always yours, we will stop wherever and whenever the client wants.
Welcome, and get ready to experience Morocco!
As seen on tripadvisor.com: *My husband and I learned so much about Morocco while driving with Youness. He was so nice, fun, interesting and an excellent driver with really good English (with Aussie, U.K. and American accents ha). We really appreciated his help with our luggage. His car was very comfortable and large with air conditioning. Although I booked all of our reservations, Youness had some excellent suggestions for meals. Youness picked us up in Imlil in the High Atlas and drove us for eight days through the eastern part of Morocco and dropped us off in Chefchaouen. We became good friends and we hated to say goodbye. We loved Morocco and a good part of it was due to Youness. We have such a better understanding of its people and culture because Youness was so open and knowledgeable in explaining things to us. It was a delight being with him and the hours of driving flew by. I love to photograph so Youness stopped whenever I wanted. Thank you so much Youness and for the cd. We hope you come to America.* – Kate_photos, East Nassau Visited October 2014
