Architectural Tour, Sightseeing
My guiding experience began when I was with the city guide group. In recent years, I became Human Resources Manager for a local jazz group full-time. When my mother became ill and moved in with me, I began sightseeing consulting from home so I could care for her. I volunteered guiding for guests of a local hotel. After she passed, I could not imagine returning to an office job or to even my part-time consulting job.
I marvel at the architecture of the downtown buildings and of the amazing history the city holds. In order to share my findings and passion, I knew I had to start my own tour business. I love opening the eyes of local residents and workers to the history and beauty that surrounds them daily. Visitors to this city are amazed at the hidden spots they did not find on their brochures.
When I am not conducting tours, I enjoy movies, contemporary art and reading. I love to travel to other cities and see what they offer, aside from the regular tourist attractions.
I love my job and was recognized in Travel + Leisure’s World’s Greatest Tour Guides article.
