Guide Bio
Michael Batterman is the Founder of NOLA Doubloon. He is an educator and incorrigible traveler. Michael earned a doctorate in Art History and spent several years teaching at University and secondary levels. He has lived and worked in Europe, Central America, the Middle East, and in St. Louis, Chicago, Washington, D.C, and New York. Michael has now planted roots in New Orleans with his wife and daughter and loves to explore in his own city! He is an impassioned educator who loves to share with others all that is unique, wonderful, and beguiling about the culture and history of this 300-year-old city through sightseeing.
