Guide at a Glance
New Hampshire, United States
I started climbing in 1999 at the age of 14 in the famous Shawangunks of New York with my older brother and father. Since that first climb of the classic Gunks route “Three Pines,” and a guided 3 day winter mountaineering course in the White Mountains later that season, climbing and guiding has become the driving force of my life. I decided early on that I wanted to share my passion for the mountains with others, a decision that eventually led me to move to New Hampshire to study Adventure Education at Plymouth State University. It was here that my passion for adventure as an essential holistic, meditative, therapuetic lifestyle was solidified. I have had the privilege of learning from many great mentors. This process of mentorship continues to inspire me in my never ending quest for knowledge. My travels have taken me all over the country in search of great rock climbing and ice climbing adventures. I am an AMGA certified Rock Instructor and certified Wilderness First Responder.
