Stockholm Jewish Heritage: We discover together the Jewish Heritage of Sweden with a comprehensive city tour including attractions such as: -The Great Synagogue founded in 1870 and preaching Progressive Judaism to a large community in the city. -The Raoul Wallenberg Memorial, the Swedish diplomat who saved thousands of Jews in Budapest in 1944, We visit the Raoul Wallenberg Holocaust Memorial in Stockholm and hear stories about the Swedish diplomat and humanitarian who saved thousands of Jews from the Guetto in Budapest during WWII. We explore the Old Town , Gamla where the intriguiging place where trade , betrayal and even murders too place .We get insight into the long lasting German influence and the numerous attacks of the Danes during the Middle Ages. Then we walk the narrow ,cobbled streets , passing the Royal Place and Tyskaplan Square , named after the German community that once lived there , where we see the outside building which was once Stockholm's first synagogue, founded in 1790. We continue to the Conservative Synagogue , known as the Great Synagogue , inaugurated in 1870. It is still active congragation with more than a thousand members.. On te walls of the entrance we can read the names of the victims of the Holocust. We also see the Raoul Wallenberg monument , which commomorates the Swedish diplomat who helped save thousands of Hungarian Jews from the Nazis.

I moved to Stockholm two years ago from the West Coast of Norway. I do have a long experience leading city tours for cruise travelers in English, French and Italian languages.
During my time in Stockholm, I did absorb everything about history, architecture, art, gastronomy and I would
love to show you around the hidden gems of my favorite city.
I do offer walking and sightseeing tours in the city around the iconic landmarks such as :
-The Royal Palace, The Great Cathedral ( Storkyrka),
-The Old Town, Gamla Stan, the German Church (Tyskakyrka),
-A day-Trip to the university city of Uppsala,
-A Boat-Trip to Drottningholm Palace, the Official Residence of H.M. the King of Sweden and
a Unesco World Heritage site since 1991.
