Kirsten became a guide as interpreting the nature, culture and adventure of Africa was always a part of his soul and being. He loves hosting people from all over the world and welcome them back to the cradle of mankind, Africa.
His trips create life-changing experiences through safari, bird watching, cultural interactions, star gazing, photographic opportunities and relaxation.
Kirsten is a guide with the Field Guide Association of Southern Africa’s distinguished Special Knowledge and Skills Qualification, he holds an MBA and speaks seven languages.
Kirsten took us on a tour to Addo Elephant Park. We had limited time and no idea what to do. He completely tailor made the 5 days trip, organizing not only fantastic accomodations but showing us hidden gems along the road. Kirsten is very well organized, professional, extremly caring and knowledgable guide who becomes your friend. We learnt a lot about the history, flora and fauna of SA through his fascinating story-telling. We felt always safe, comfortable and extremely blessed and happy to have met him. He knows every street, mountain, beach, bay or place along the route and shares his knowledge in a heart warming manner. Every question we asked has been answered, every wish we had- fullfilled. There are many guides but Kirsten is able to add the magic spark turning a great into a fantastic, once in a lifetime experience. I highly recommend him to everyone looking for a special visit.
Kirsten guided us on our 5 day tour along the Garden Route. Our trip with him was wonderful. For this short time our trip was very good organized and with his SUV-car also very convinient. The places he showed us and the accomodations and stops Kirsten has chosen for us have been fantastic. Kirsten is a very friendly guide who is very passioned and enthusiastic. He knows a lot about nature, the culture and people in Southafrica. I highly recommend him and would definately book him again next time we come to Southafrica.
Kristin guided my family and I for three days during our first trip to South Africa. He is an energetic, organized, extremely friendly guide with a passion for animal/plant life and South African cultural history. Throughout our days with Kristin he showed us hidden treasurers throughout Cape Town and leveraged his knowledge of the community to tailor and flex the daily plan to our interests (swapped hikes, vineyard visits, and city tours to adjust to weather and competing interests among our family).
Anyone who is lucky enough to have Kristin as a guide is guaranteed to have a fantastic visit and leave with one more South African friend.
