Guide Bio

Born and raised in the North Island of New Zealand, I left University with a degree in Zoology and Marine Science and went on to work as a Marine Biologist. After a time working in Large Aquariums in Australia, I moved my attention to Argentina where I was working as part of a Jaguar research project in the Northern Jungle.

Then I continued my travels and over the course of 10 years I visited over 40 countries, living and working in some and simply traveling through others. This is where I discovered my love for the people and cultures around us and the places we can visit.

Without realizing it I slipped into guiding as a natural part of my life and continue to do it to this day.
After tour guiding in a number of countries I thought I could create my own tour company showing my own country to the people from everywhere else. Now I have a young family and am running Pathfinder Tours year round in New Zealand.

Our winter operation is called SNOMAD Ski Adventures NZ and offers complete ski holidays in private chalet accommodation, including all the creature comforts, cooked breakfasts and daily ski-field shuttles.
