Guide Bio

Jennifer was born and raised in the suburbs of Seattle with fond food memories of making homemade blackberry jam every summer and helping her mom and grandma make cookies, cakes and pies. No wonder she has a sweet tooth! She has traveled extensively, thanks in part to working for a leading on-line travel company that, at one point, twisted her arm and forced her to live in Rome, Italy for two whole years! She has a deep appreciation for Italian food and is always in search of restaurants that capture her ideal dining experience: fresh ingredients, cleverly paired flavors, and a relaxing atmosphere. She is thrilled to be part of the Taste Seattle team and looks forward to seeing you on the next food tour!

As seen on: TripAdvisor “Excellent!” 5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2014 This Tour was one of the best walking ones in the downtown area. They are also the only ones in the Pioneer Square proximity. They are very knowledgable and I learned a great deal, and I am a Seattle Native! For what you pay; your recieving a bargain! Check it out! Visited May 2014 Dkramer206 Seattle, Washington

As seen on: TripAdvisor “Great experience” 5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 11, 2014 We had tid bits of wine, salami, chocolate, philly sandwiches, bagels, coffee, sake, amongst other items. There was quite a bit of walking, but our tour guide was very informative and sweet. Our trip to Seattle was only 3 days, so this accelerated our comprehension of Seattle’s history and let us try several restaurants we would not have been able to fit into a weekend. (We also bought the Groupon). Visited August 2014 Hailey P

As seen on: TripAdvisor “Pioneer Square foodie” 5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 3, 2014 Our guide, Jennifer, gave us an excellent food tour of the area. She was professional and poised and even though I am a native I learned interesting tied bits about the area I had not known before. Pioneer Square is becoming the food center of Seattle, we saw several notices about new restaurants and bars about to open. If. you love food you will had a good time. Maybe a little slow but I realize it is hard to move a group quickly. Visited June 2014 y0ungatheart Bainbridge, Wa

As seen on: TripAdvisor “Thank you Taste Seattle Food Tours, there really is no place like home! I Love Seattle♥” 5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 7, 2014 Thanks to my classy manager..David Shapland at the Inn at El Gaucho, and our very savvy, professional Tour guides…Jennifer and Roen; there truly is an amazing history in Seattle, and it is Pioneer Square. Jennifer and Roen were fantastic! The wealth of information, hospitality & etiquette surpassed our expectations! Thank you for a personal and savory wikipedia of Pioneer Square, Seattle’s foundation. We should all know the history of where we live, and maybe we would be more thankful. How could we ever be bored in Seattle! Visited June 2014 SandyJaeger Seattle, Washington
