Guide Bio

Jenn is a guide with Sea to Sky Expeditions and she says one of her favourite trips in the Bowring Lakes canoe circuit in northern British Columbia – an eight-day excursion that features pristine lakes and lots of wildlife including moose, bears and eagles. She says the most exciting thing that’s happened during her years of guiding was getting caught in a whale’s bubble net (a system used by Humpbacks to catch bait fish) while kayaking off the north coast of BC. Thankfully the whale realized at the last minute that the kayaks were there and veered off before any of them were accidentally swallowed.

The GuideAdvisor team spent an afternoon with Jenn and the Sea to Sky Expedition guides in Squamish, BC and they were all great. We watched as they efficiently packed up gear from a recent excursion and heard stories about their favourite trips – everything from witnessing humpback whales using bubble nets to catch prey to setting the world record of most hiking trips on the West Coast Trail. The Sea to Sky guides are professional, fun and entertaining.
