Guide Bio
Jeannette has been offering guided tours in Berlin and Potsdam to explore the architecture, fine arts and German history in the German capital. She also gives guided museum visits to individual visitors and groups. She has several years of international experience at Sorbonne in Paris as well as in Atlanta in the USA. After graduating from Medical school, she worked in research. Then, recently she studied art history and architecture. Jeannette moved back to Berlin in 1990.
Jeannette has some professional experience in organising “jumelarge” meetings and visits in Berlin for several Rotary- and Lions-Club sections. Her position entailed moderating cultural programmes in two languages. She cooperated with event agencies in Berlin such as BTM, VIP, CES, art: Berlin. In recent years, she also guided official visitors and delegations.
Jeannette has a guide certificate corresponding to a “blue band” guide in the U.K. and is a member of the Bundesverband der Gästeführer in Deutschland (BVGD).
