Guide Bio
I am a sightseeing guide of Victorian homes in the San Francisco region. I am an active member of the local Tourist Bureau, Guides Guild, Architectural Heritage, the IGLTA and the Victorian Alliance.
My guiding business began in 1996 when my employer downsized. I wanted to share my passion of Victorian homes with others. I had moved to the region in 1979 and nine years later purchased my dream home. I have restored it to the original state like so many of the local Victorian homes.
Many of the city’s trademark Victorian architecture buildings are on very narrow streets. This makes it impossible for many tours buses to venture into the area. Thus, I decided to provide a walking tour of the area.
With being a local resident for more than 30 years and learning all that I can about the architecture, I can provide an interesting walk. This tour gives tourists a look into the appreciation locals have for their neighborhood.
