Helen Prendergast, along with her husband David, owns and operates Kepler Oaks Chalet.  They offer accommodation  in Te Anau, a stones throw from the world-famous Waiau River and gateway to the Fiordland National Park.  Helen offers guided horseback riding tours through this beautiful part of New Zealand.  Helen is well versed in the area and knows the best places to visit and the best activities in partake in, in the region. Use her local knowledge and get informed recommendations on everything from dining to fishing.  Helen is also passionate about horses and horseback riding and guides treks along the beautiful views of Lake Te Anau or the Waiau River.

Kepler Oaks Boutique Trek, Pony & Farmlet Tours A farmlet near the Kepler Track, with ponies, sheep, chickens, dog, cat, rabbit, alpacas and goat. Tours includes pony grooming & rides followed by short quiz, prize & refreshments. Boutique scenic treks – for 1-3 riders give you the opportunity to ride alongside Fiordland National Park, Lake Te Anau and Waiau River the River Anduin in the Lord of the Rings movie. Kepler Oaks Chalet Self contained 2 bedroom Chalet within the Fiordland National Park Scenic Reserve. Situated in rural area with animal interaction. You enter your own slice of paradise just 10 minutes walk to the Kepler Track, Waiau River and Golf Course. Horse ride with Helen along Lake Te Anau or the Waiau River. The Chalet sleeps 5, large bathroom with spa bath, full kitchen, washing machine, free Wi-Fi. Continental breakfast provisions.
