Guide at a Glance
First Indonesian Basejump
A family man, I began Manado Adventures in Indonesia more than 10 years ago. As an experienced guide and mountain climber, I have led many expeditions, including one to Africa’s highest peak – Mount Kilimanjaro. This was during the time I was involved in Indonesia’s Expedition Climb which is known as Seven Summits. The idea was to climb the seven highest peaks of the world. Alas, I did not complete it. From my experience, I now help others attain their mountain climbing goals. Climbing has been part of my life since I was 15 years old. I also do other extreme sports such as paratrooping. Now, my hobby has become my profession.
I am the first Indonesian guiding company to have organized an international expedition. I also was the first person to organize a commercial trip by helicopter to Carstensz Pyramid in New Guinea. The Pyramid has been closed to expeditioners after a group of tourists were killed. After this, other expeditions have been denied as there are proper procedures to undergo. I have permits to allow an expedition to explore the region.
Join me in an adventure you will never forget!
