Fabrizia Lanza was born in Palermo in 1961 to the Tasca family, renowned as the daughter of cooking school founder Anna Tasca Lanza. Anna established her cooking school in 1989. In 2006, Fabrizia joined her mother’s venture and reconnect with the Sicilian food and environment. After Anna passed away in 2010, Fabrizia continues her mother’s legacy and her international presence.
Fabrizia is a regular traveller, usually to the United States where she enjoys sharing her cuisine in restaurants such as Alice Waters’ in California and Mario Batali’s in New York City. She also teaches food culture at various academic institutes, including Boston University, The Istanbul Culinary Institue, and the Oxford Food Symposium.
Fabrizia loves Sicilian food and promotes the food practices and traditions through video documentation.
