Guide Bio

Dorje Sherpa comes from the Himalayan region of Nepal. He has just completed his intermediate certification. Before joining to our company he has trained for mountaineering with the Nepal Government. Now he is working as a licensed mountaineering leader. In this field he has is enormously knowledgeable about the mountains and its minute to minute details. He is fluent in English, Sherpa and Nepali. He is experienced with the mountains in the region and can provide the ultimate experience for the customer. He has been to several expeditions which are organized by different countries. And today he likes to share his knowledge in this field with his guests and others who are interested.

Deepak Khanal, Nepalese kingpin of Osho World Adventure travel, is part of a family with well over a quarter of a century of direct experience in the trekking adventure field, and has been involved himself for more than 10 years. In 2009 he founded Osho World Adventure travel, and it has been a source of pleasure and satisfaction to witness the steady growth of the company since then. Deepak’s early years of education took place in a rural village, south-east of Everest, since when he completed secondary education in Kathmandu. Deepak has over 10 years of experience in travel and tourism in Nepal and has led many successful treks and climbs in Himalayas of Nepal. Some of the successful treks led by Deepak are Annapurna Base Camp Trekking, Everest Base Camp trekking, Manaslu Circuit Trekking, Mt. Kailash and Mansarovar trekking and many others. A strong feeling for ethical business, devour for Osho and fair trade underpins Deepak’s insistence that the company employs only Nepalese trekking staff, including leaders, and completes all trade in Nepal, with Nepalese products and services, thus ensuring that all expenditure and profits benefit Nepal and thus contribute towards the development of the country.
