Aside from our amazing lineup of kayak trips, my favorite is The Duluth Traverse Mountain Bike Adventure... I really enjoy introducing our guests to Duluth's world-class trail system. It's amazing and has options for all skill levels. Let's go for a ride!

Guide Bio

Hello! My name is Dave and I’m a 4th generation Duluthian – and proud of it. After finishing high school in Duluth, I attended St. John’s University where I earned a B.A. in Natural Science and began my love affair with home brewing. After graduating, I drove his pickup to Alaska, eventually arriving in Juneau where he worked as a guide for an Alaskan tour company. After a summer in Alaska, I returned to the lower 48 and worked as a seasonal wildlife biologist for three years before heading back to Duluth to attend graduate school at UMD. I earned a Master’s degree in Biology, moved to Arizona, and spent 8 years coordinating wildlife research studies as a Senior Project Manager for the Arizona Game and Fish Department. In 2012, I returned to Duluth to help start our tour company.
