Guide Bio
Captain Chris Shoemaker is a professional fishing guide for May River Excursions, which is based out of Bluffton, South Carolina. Chris’s family has been living in the low country since the 1600′s and his father was a fisherman for 25 years. Chris learned many of the skills he uses today from his father. He is a very knowledgeable captain who holds a degree from the University of South Carolina. Chris is a very friendly guide who loves to meet new people and sharing his knowledge. He can provide tours for up to 12 people and he really looks forward to having you on one.
