Guide Bio

I think I’ve been a good guide in my own life, I’ve been travelling around since I was very young, so I learned how to find my way and I discovered that on the road one’s never alone. I  like to be the one who can help you when you are in need, the person who shows you the way, who speaks for you and who can solve your problems making your journey something that you will remind fondly.

I like to share my experiences and I’m interested in the ones of the others; I really enjoy knowing people from all over the world, most of all when they’re travelling.

For me every tour is a different one because I try to understand how to meet each guest’s expectations, so there are no cookie cutter tours in my work.

I think that a guide not only should base her work on the relationship with the group but she should also be good in giving meaning to the places through the stories and the anecdotes she tells; I’m a performer with that, not for nothing I’m an actress. Let me guide you around Verona.

As seen on TripAdvisor: My husband and I took this tour, having booked online before coming on holiday. We both found it a great way to see the city. Our guide, Caterina, was very knowledgeable and able to answer our questions. She was also good to chat to, finding out more about the Italian way of life. The bikes were suitable for the tour and good quality, well-maintained. The cycling was at a comfortable level – although my husband is an experienced rider, I am very much a holiday only cyclist but the tour suited us both. He cycled up the rather steep hill to the castle for the wonderful view of the city while Caterina walked up with myself and the other two fellow travellers. We even had a stop for coffee – perfect for me! After the tour ended we were able to go back to some of the sights we had been introduced to, in order to spend a little more time there. We would recommend this tour as being suitable for a range of ages (the two other travellers were friends in their early 20s) and would use Veronality again.

As seen on TripAdvisor: When I told my family about a surprise Vespa Wine tour booking, my wife said: “I have not been driving a scooter since I was 18. It is to difficult and risky”. But it went very good and was a great experience. Our Vespa guide took us carefully though the busy city traffic into the amazing mountains north east of Verona. He took us to breathtaking spots we never would have found ourselves. What great places we saw. After a few hours of Vespa driving we had a winery visit with lunch….. Just great. Being a world travelling family with experience in many countries, The Wine Vespa tour by Veronlity is among our top 5 guided tours. Regards Frank & Marie

As seen on TripAdvisor: I did a private walking tour with Francesca and then a bike tour. Both are fantastic guides: knowledgeable, professional and fun to be with. I’ve learned a lot about this lovely city, and truly enjoyed their company. The back office of Veronality is also extremely efficient, responsive and flexible. I booked the tours quite last-minute, but everything was arranged perfectly. Matteo and Consuelo, thanks so so much! It is really a pity that I did not have time for the cooking class and the wine tour, but will definitely come back to Veronality for these tours when I visit Verona agian, which I’m sure it’ll be in the near future. Molto Grazie! Haiyin

As seen on TripAdvisor : Firstly I’d like to say how helpful and friendly the staff {Matteo and Consuello} were. They were in regular touch and organised my tour at very short notice.Thank you guys. Our guide showed us around this most wonderful city, giving us plenty of historical information on the way.The view from the hill is spectacular and well worth the bike push for the last part of the climb. It really is a lovely way to get to grips with this beautiful city and help decide where you will wander later on foot.

As seen on TripAdvisor : This was one of the highlights of our trip to Italy. Our guide arrived promptly with two good quality bikes and we headed off on a 2 to 3 hour cycle into the Veronese countryside. The guide was a wealth of knowledge when it came to the history of the city as well as the food and wine. We finished up our afternoon in Enoteca Segreta, a hidden wine bar in verona where we tasted local wine, cheese and cured ham. The staff were very welcoming and obviously extremely passionate about their produce. Luckily it wasn’t too far to cycle home. We would highly recommend this tour!

As seen on TripAdvisor: We had an excellent “Amarone tour” on 4. July 2014, a half day wine tour by bike. Biking in the green valley just north of Verona to a vineyard, tasting delicious wine in good company, that is nice! Recommend! We had contacted Veronality on a little short notice, but they managed to make the arrangements with the vineyard. My husband and myself, a couple in our 60’ties, were the only participants, and therefore got all attention from the enthusiastic and charming guides. We were equipped with good quality bikes. The trip from the city to the vineyard was about 15 km’s, and the return trip after the winetasting about 5 km’s – which was good, as the wine was excellent and ample. Nice and easy biking, part on asphalt, part gravel through a lovely countryside. A really nice trip together with the two guides who were excellent company. At the vineyard Musella we got the tour of the winery by the owner as expected. He presented the five wines for tasting: Rose de Drago, Valpolicella superiore 2012, valpolicella superior ripasso, monte del drago 2009, amarone riserva 2008. In addition we had some cheese , olive oil and balsamico and we were also offered grappa de amarone – which we declined as we had to manage the return by bike. All together , a lovely day, good value for money!

“As seen on TripAdvisor: Vi tog en guidad cykel tur för att hinna se så mycket som möjligt av Verona då vår tid där var begränsad. Det är inget vi ångrar utan vi kunde inte gjort det på något bättre sätt. En fantastisk stad med mycket historia samt mycket att se. Vår guide Caterina pratade väldigt bra engelska och var väl insatt i Verona som stad och dess historia.
